Ixia Beach Rhodes Island

Ixia Beach | Island Rhodes | Greece

One of the most cosmopolite and modern beaches in Rhodes Island, Ixia offers you all the facilities you need for an enjoyable day working on your tan under the sun of Greece.

Ixia beach lays only 5 km south of the romantic Rhodes Town, on the northeastern coast of the Rhodes Island.

You will simply feel complete on the beautiful 2 km long Ixia beach, surrounded by the amazingly clear blue waters, and guarded by green flabby hills. Many beach bars and tavernas tempts you with refreshing drink or a light Greek specialty. Lots of water sports options promises a bit of adrenaline.

Why not trying scuba diving for the first time, right here, on Ixia beach?

A privileged geographical position enables Ixia beach to open its gates for the surfers, offering them constant winds for the waves they're longing for. There are few centers for equipment rentals and even Jet Ski hire right on the beach.

Ixia is not recommended for the little ones, but why not taking them for a safe and funny splash in one of the beach hotel pools, while you relax with a cocktail facing the infinite blue sea scenery?

If you take a walk along the shoreline, you will be amazed to discover a complete different Ixia beach, on the way to Theologos (Tholos) beach. This is a much less packed beach, offering you a great scenery for a lovely swimming in the crystal clear waters.

Spend a great afternoon shopping in the Turkish Quarter of the city of Rodos, and don't miss a pleasant walk along the promenade of Elli beach, leading you to the famous Casino - who knows, you might have a lucky hand this evening!

A lovely modern oasis very close to Rhodes city, where the island beat comes from, Ixia is one of the beaches you shouldn't miss for great Rhodes holidays !
